The first value is the number of active servers, the second number is the number of registered accounts.

@heluecht lemmy is missing... @metaphil @fediverse

Do you know a list of Lemmy servers? Then I can check the detection routines. Possibly they don't provide any nodeinfo data.

@heluecht what about https://join.lemmy.ml/instances
There are only Instances listed, with open registration, and you have to ask the developers to be added with your instance. (Mine is not there, because i have no open registration, and it's only for me and my entry to the world of lemmy) @fediverse @metaphil

I now had a short look. is Lemmy a federated system? I have some servers in my list and the system can't even detect a protocol.

@heluecht yes. lemmy speaks ActivityPub. For now it federates only to lemmy itself. But they are working on federation to pleroma an mastodon. There are some troubles with webtoken or so with maston, because mastodon uses an old version, or so.

Lemmy is really cool replacement for reddit. It works very well and stable. I have my own instance, and it federates very well with lemmy.ml reference-instance.

But its still under heavy development.

I hope that they are not only working on federating with Pleroma and Mastodon, but with all systems that use AP.

@heluecht @fediverse @metaphil they would need more developers... so step by step...

Well, when they stick to the AP standard then they should be able to communitcate with every system that is standard compliant as well.

@heluecht I'm only a User... so i asked, why is federating not working now to my pleroma-instance, so i got the information... obviously mastodon is using an older standard than pleroma...

i don't know, what's exactly going on on lemmy....

but lemmy is really cool on user-experience.

;-)
